Sprite Debuts Lemon Mint Flavor In India

Sprite’s new Lemon Mint, the brand’s first flavor innovation in India, combines Sprite’s lemon-lime taste with mint notes, available as a limited-time offering in select markets. It’s supported by a campaign featuring comedian Sunil Grover and built around Sprite’s “Thand Rakh” philosophy. The rollout includes social media, in-store visibility and retail toolkits. The tagline “Mint Lagaa” means “a touch of mint.”

Innocent Drinks Launches 500ml Coconut Water Format

Innocent drinks will expand its coconut water range with a new 500ml format aimed at on-the-go consumers, available from May at Tesco Express, Amazon and convenience channels. According to Nielsen data for the 13 weeks ending February 21, 2026, innocent coconut water is the fastest-growing coconut water on the market. It’s 100% pure coconut water with no added sugar, sweeteners or concentrates. It’s also fat-free and contains less than 20kcal per 100ml. 

Smartwater Unveils Cerulean Bottle For Devil Wears Prada

Smartwater is partnering with 20th Century Studios to mark the May release of The Devil Wears Prada 2. Launched in April, the collaboration includes a special edition cerulean-colored bottle and a nationwide digital challenge. The limited-run bottles, available at select Target locations while supplies last, feature Miranda Priestly’s monologue-inspired copy, the film’s red-heeled logo and a QR code linking to the “smartwater cerulean” challenge. 

Swire Coca-Cola Opens Third Valley Distribution Center

Swire Coca-Cola will open its third Valley distribution center in Mesa, Arizona, this month, aimed at helping to meet growing demand for products including Coca-Cola, Monster Energy, Powerade, Sprite, Fanta, Smartwater, Gold Peak Tea and Core Power. Swire Coca-Cola also operates facilities in Tempe and Glendale, and employs more than 8,000 people across 13 Western states.

Harrogate Spring Water Plans Spark Danone Forest Criticism

Harrogate Spring Water, owned by Danone, faces criticism over plans to remove around 1,000 trees from Rotary Wood and the Pinewoods area in Harrogate, Yorkshire, to expand its bottling plant. The 20-year-old community woodland was planted by local schoolchildren. North Yorkshire Council planning officers recommended approval, with a final council vote scheduled for mid-April. Dame Joanna Lumley, Sir Jonathon Porritt and Dame Judi Dench all criticized the scheme publicly and more than 1,300 formal objections have been submitted by residents, conservation organizations and people involved in the original planting.

Nestlé Outlines Strategic Pivot In 2025 Annual Review

Nestlé released its 2025 annual review at its 159th Annual General Meeting in Lausanne, outlining plans to transform operations across 187 countries and more than 2,000 brands. The strategy centers on generating efficiencies and cost savings by the end of next year and expanding growth platforms from 10% to 30% of sales. Powdered and liquid beverages account for 28.1% of sales.

Red Bull Launches Summer Edition Citrus Zest Variant

In the UK, Red Bull’s latest seasonal variant, Summer Edition Citrus Zest, features flavors of Japanese Sudachi Lime. Summer Edition Citrus Zest comes in single 250ml plain and price-marked pack cans, and in sugar-free 355ml and 473ml cans. Red Bull hopes to replicate the success of last year’s White Peach Summer Edition, which Nielsen rated one of the most successful FMCG NPDs in 2025. It will feature as a core product in Red Bull’s “Work Off. Summer On” campaign, which begins in June.

Tranquilo Markets Ashwagandha-Based Calm Beverage From Sweden

Tranquilo, a Swedish beverage brand, is described as the world’s only ashwagandha-based drink, positioned around calm, relaxation and mood rather than energy or protein. Each 330ml can contains 0.5g of KSM-66 Ashwagandha. There are two flavors, Lemon & Elderflower and Raspberry, each with no sugar and seven calories per can. Tranquilo has grown quickly in the Swedish functional beverage market and is expanding into the UK.

PuraSoda Debuts In US At Sprouts Farmers Market

Pura Beverage Company, based in Cape Town, South Africa, introduced its PuraSoda line nationwide at Sprouts Farmers Market through an exclusive partnership, marking the brand’s first major US retail presence. PuraSoda is made from four simple ingredients, including real fruit extracts and organic cane sugar, with 65 calories or less per 10 oz can and no artificial colors, sweeteners or stevia. Launch flavors at Sprouts include Cucumber & Lime, Cranberry, and Ginger Ale, sold as single cans. They are also available online at drinkpura.com and Amazon.com.

Gorgie Launches Candy Twist Energy Drink Flavor

Gorgie, which claims to be a better-for-you energy drink brand, launched Candy Twist, a new candy-inspired flavor. Each can contains 150mg of green tea caffeine along with biotin, B vitamins and L-theanine. It’s gluten-free, vegan and free of artificial sweeteners. Candy Twist will be sold on GETGORGIE.com and at Target locations across the US, building on Gorgie’s existing presence at the retailer, supported by influencer activations, social campaigns and experiential events.
