Coca-Cola Launches Multi-Chain Ad Campaign

A new Coca-Cola marketing campaign features 13 restaurant chains, such as Domino’s Pizza, Wendy’s and Five Guys, to boost soda sales as restaurant traffic declines. Each commercial concludes with customers ordering “And a Coke,” marking the first time Coke featured multiple restaurant partners in a single campaign. They began airing in movie theaters on April 4 and will start rolling out by mid-April to linear TV, digital channels and delivery platforms, including UberEats and DoorDash. 

Coca-Cola HBC Brings Three Cents Mixer Brand To China

Coca-Cola HBC introduced Three Cents sodas and mixers brand in mainland China. Distribution is handled by Telford Wine & Spirits (Shanghai). Initial rollout covers Shanghai, Guangzhou, Changsha and Chengdu. Products include Three Cents Tonic Water, Aegean Tonic, Two Cents Plain, Ginger Beer, and Pink Grapefruit Soda. George Bagos, the brand’s general manager and co-founder, pointed to a younger generation driving cocktail culture in China as a key opportunity. Three Cents is currently available in more than 50 markets worldwide.

Sprite Launches Chill Lemon-Lime Mint Flavor In Thailand

In Thailand, Coca-Cola’s Sprite brand introduces a new Chill Lemon Lime Mint flavor in a launch timed to coincide with the Songkran festival, with activations at Silom from April 12 to 14, including a shower zone and up to 5,000 complimentary bottles distributed daily. Han Thwe Phyo, senior director of marketing for Coca-Cola in Thailand and Laos, said the product delivers “a deeper, colder hit of refreshment.” It’s available nationwide in 500ml PET bottles and 325ml cans.

Danone CEO Warns Iran War Could Force Beverage Price Increases

Danone CEO Antoine de Saint-Affrique told CNBC that inflationary pressures from the Iran war may lead the company to consider price increases, but “we are not there yet.” Effective closure of the Strait of Hormuz has driven up energy, fertilizer and shipping costs. Britain’s Food and Drink Federation forecast food inflation of at least 9% by year-end, revised up from an earlier estimate of 3.2%, assuming the strait reopens within two to three weeks and key facilities get back to normal within a year.

Danone Invests In Water Brands Founded On Health Trends

Danone says rising health awareness among consumers in Britain and France is driving a shift from sugary drinks to bottled water, boosting sales of brands like Evian. Europe’s bottled-water market, valued at around €18 billion, grew 5% in value and 3% in volume last year, with France up 7% in value and Britain up 9%, according to Danone Waters Europe. Danone is committing €20 million to upgrade its Evian bottling facility and €8 million at other brand sites.

KDP Canada Launches Bloom Sparkling Energy Drink

Keurig Dr Pepper Canada is launching Bloom Sparkling Energy in Canada through a distribution agreement with Nutrabolt, beginning mid-April 2026. Bloom Sparkling Energy is zero-sugar, lightly carbonated and made with prebiotics and naturally sourced caffeine from green coffee bean extract. It will be available in five flavors: Raspberry Lemon, Juicy Orange, Peach Mango, Strawberry Watermelon and Crisp Apple. They come in 355ml cans, initially at 7-Eleven, Alimentation Couche-Tard and Amazon. 

KDP Completes JDE Peet’s Acquisition

Keurig Dr Pepper completed its acquisition of 96.22% of JDE Peet’s shares, creating what it describes as a global coffee powerhouse. KDP named Rafael Oliveira, currently CEO of JDE Peet’s, to lead the combined coffee unit and serve as CEO of a planned Global Coffee Co. following a separation from KDP’s refreshment beverages business. KDP CEO Tim Cofer will lead the future Beverage Co. Operational readiness to separate is expected by year-end.

Highland Spring Extends Flavored Still Water Range

Highland Spring added Orange & Passionfruit and Summer Berries to its flavored still water lineup. Both are sugar free. Orange & Passionfruit will be available in 750ml and 1.25L formats; Summer Berries will come in a 1.25L PET recyclable bottle. Marketing director Nic Yates said that the company has an ambition to reach £100 million in UK sales. The brand now covers tropical, citrus and other flavor profiles across its five-product range.

Lucky Energy Launches Nostalgia-Inspired Slush Range In New Can Format

Lucky Energy’s new three-SKU Slush range — Blue Razz, Cherry Slush and Strawberry Slush — is inspired by classic frozen beverages associated with American convenience culture. The launch also introduces the brand’s first permanent 12 oz sleek can format. Each can contains 200mg of caffeine as well as maca, beta-alanine, taurine and ginseng. Strawberry Slush is set to roll out later in April. The drinks are positioned as zero sugar and zero calorie and will initially be available in the US online in a 12-pack format with expansion to retail channels in the coming months. 

Lahori Zeera Targets Expanded Manufacturing Footprint For Growth

Indian beverage brand Lahori Zeera expects revenue of ₹1,200–1,300 crore by FY27, up from an estimated ₹770–780 crore in FY26. To address manufacturing capacity constraints, it’s setting up new bottling units in Bihar, Bengaluru, Muzaffarnagar, Agra and Bhopal. General trade currently accounts for around 98% of volumes across up to 10 lakh retail outlets. South India is identified as the next major growth area, with the Bengaluru unit planned as a hub. The company also plans to launch Lahori Aamras, a non-carbonated beverage, in spout and PET bottle formats. 

Kylie Jenner’s Sprinter Brand Enters Wellness Hydration

Kylie Jenner’s beverage brand Sprinter is launching k2o, a functional hydration line in single-serve stick-pack format, debuting April 8. It combines electrolytes with collagen peptides and hyaluronic acid, to support skin elasticity and moisture retention. The range is zero sugar, low calorie and free of artificial additives, in three flavors: Strawberry Lychee, Peach and Watermelon Lime. Distribution will initially be direct-to-consumer through the brand’s website and TikTok Shop. 

The Better For You Company Acquires Bankrupt Kombucha Town

The Better For You Company acquired the assets of Kombucha Town and its extension brand Live Seltzer out of Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Kombucha Town filed for bankruptcy in late 2025 after facing operational and financial difficulties. The deal brings Kombucha Town’s regional presence in Washington and Oregon together with BFYC’s existing portfolio, which includes the mushroom-based drink brand Boom Chaga. BFYC also acquired key manufacturing assets and intellectual property, and plans to maintain Kombucha Town’s local identity while exploring branding updates aligned with Boom Chaga’s aesthetic.

EHP Labs Expands OxyShred Energy Drink With New 500ml Flavors

Australian supplement company EHP Labs confirmed that its larger 500ml OxyShred Energy Drink is a permanent line extension rather than a limited-edition collaboration. Initially launched in a single Island Punch flavor linked to brand ambassador Jaden Laing, the range now includes two additional flavors: Blue Raspberry and Strawberry Mango. The 500ml version is a third more carbonated than the standard version and contains alpha-GPC, theanine and 160mg of caffeine. It’s exclusively available at 7-Eleven stores in Australia.

Carlsberg Britvic Adds Sparkling Variants To J2O Soft Drink Range

Carlsberg Britvic’s J2O range now has a new sparkling line in Apple & Raspberry and Apple & Mango flavors, in 330ml cans. The launch targets demand for alcohol-free soft drinks suited to social and on-the-go occasions, particularly among younger consumers, with products available across grocery, convenience and wholesale channels at a £1.75 RRP per can. Multipacks are also available.
