Coca-Cola Egypt Deepens Regional Presence

Egypt’s Prime Minister, Moustafa Madbouly, affirmed the country’s commitment to supporting a thriving private sector and improving the investment climate. During a meeting with Coca-Cola’s Henrique Braun at the 2025 World Economic Forum, Madbouly emphasized tailored incentives to enhance Coca-Cola’s operations. Coca-Cola plans to establish Egypt as its primary regional digital hub, with initiatives to upgrade infrastructure. Both parties expressed a mutual commitment to strengthening their partnership, with Coca-Cola focusing on community projects and long-term investments.

Coca-Cola Acquires Billson’s Beverages For ARTD Expansion

Coca-Cola plans to expand into Australia’s alcoholic ready-to-drink market with its acquisition of Billson’s Beverages, a family-owned company from Beechworth, Victoria. After going into voluntary administration following financial difficulties, Billson’s flavors will be integrated into Coca-Cola’s portfolio. Billson’s founders will continue producing non-ARTD products under a new brand. Coca-Cola’s acquisition aligns with its vision of offering beverages for every occasion while maintaining responsibility in alcohol marketing. The deal is set for completion on January 31.

Coca-Cola Philippines Rebrands After Ownership Change

Coca-Cola Beverages Philippines Inc. rebranded as Coca-Cola Europacific Aboitiz Philippines Inc. (CCEAP) following its $1.8 billion acquisition by Coca-Cola Europacific Partners Plc (60%) and Aboitiz Equity Ventures Inc. (40%). Effective January 15, 2025, the new name reflects a commitment to sustainability, customer impact and operational excellence.
