Independent bottler Coca-Cola Beverages Northeast has replaced some of its plastic beverage products in its portfolio with 100% rPET, excluding caps and labels. According to Coca-Cola Northeast, this move will eliminate an estimated 6.5 million pounds of virgin plastic annually. The new bottles are available for purchase throughout retailers in the Northeast.

Keurig Dr Pepper has reported an 8.9 percent year-on-year increase in net sales to $3.35 billion in Q1 2023. The company's performance was boosted by increased prices, successful innovation, and increased marketing. The company reaffirmed its guidance for full-year constant currency net sales growth of 5 percent and adjusted diluted EPS growth of 6-7 percent.

Wonky fruit infused sparkling water brand DASH Water has expanded its Peach and Raspberry flavors to 1,600 Co-op Food stores across the UK. DASH’s sparkling water contains no sugar, sweeteners, and calories. The launch into Co-op is part of DASH’s wider retail strategy to reach new audiences who are looking to make healthier drinks choices at home and on the go, with products also stocked across other major UK retailers such as Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Waitrose.
Prebiotic soda company Olipop claims it is on track to double its sales this year to over $200 million. Olipop’s rise coincides with declining soda consumption in the US and rising interest in gut health. According to founder and CEO Ben Goodwin, the company is not interested in being acquired by larger beverage giants such as PepsiCo and Coca-Cola, who have already shown interest in acquiring the startup.
G FUEL has partnered with video game development studio CD PROJEKT RED to launch a new Immuno-Fluid flavor inspired by the studio's Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime. The sugar-free grape, banana and apple flavored beverage contains 140 mg of caffeine and 15 calories per serving. G FUEL Immuno-Fluid is available to preorder in 40-serving tubs or YouTooz Collector’s Box with a themed Shaker Cup and vinyl figure.
Sports nutrition and lifestyle brand Bucked Up, has expanded its energy drink lineup by introducing LFG Burn, a performance energy drink that is designed to burn fat. LFG Burn is formulated with Grains of Paradise and L-Baiba, which Bucked Up claims can help consumers burn more calories during a workout. The LFG Burn line is available on Bucked Up’s website and retailers in three flavors: Watermelon, Apple Orchard and Cherry Blast.
Premium bottled water company EIRA Water has unveiled its new refined brand identity with the descriptor "Pure Norwegian. Mineral Water." The rebrand aims to emphasize the company's commitment to offering the purest and highest quality water while celebrating the culture and heritage of Norway. Following the rebrand, EIRA Water will launch a redesigned, perfume bottle-inspired PET range featuring a wider array of formats and an all-new aluminum range in Q4 of 2023.
