Tata Consumer No Longer Pursuing Acquisition Of Bisleri

Tata Consumer Products has ended discussions to acquire bottled water firm Bisleri International, according to a filing with the Bombay Stock Exchange. A deal would have seen the Indian conglomerate take a majority stake in the company, which has an estimated worth of $1 billion. Reports earlier this month suggested that Tata and Bisleri failed to agree on a valuation, however, Bisleri has since said that it is no longer looking to sell. Tata Consumer Products will now focus on building its existing bottled water portfolio of Himalayan, Tata Copper Plus Water and Tata Gluco brands.

Coca-Cola Launches AI Platform For Digital Artists

Coca-Cola has launched "Create Real Magic," an AI platform that allows digital creatives to generate original artwork using branded elements from the company's archives. The platform combines the capabilities of GPT-4, which generates human-like text from search engine queries, and DALL-E, which produces images based on text. Customers in the US, Australia, and select countries in Europe can access the platform through March 31st. Through the Create Real Magic contest, artists can submit their work for the chance to be featured on digital billboards in New York's Times Square and London's Piccadilly Circus. “Create Real Magic” is the first output of The Coca-Cola Company’s collaboration with the new global services alliance launched by Bain & Company and OpenAI. The beverage company is exploring ways to leverage AI beyond marketing, including for internal knowledge management and workflows, customer service, and point-of-sale material creation.

Jack Daniel’s & Coca-Cola To Launch In Japan

Jack Daniel’s & Coca-Cola will be available across Japan beginning on April 10. The beverage is a collaboration between the Coca-Cola Company and Brown-Forman, maker of Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey, and is based on the "Jack Coke" drink mix. First released in Mexico in November 2022, it is also set to hit other North American countries and Europe, among other places, in sequence.

Vitaminwater Debuts Zero Sugar Reformulation & Two New Flavors

Coca-Cola’s vitaminwater launched a reformulation for its zero sugar beverage, along with the addition of two new zero sugar flavors - ‘with love’ and ‘forever you’. The reformulation is made from a new sweetener formula that includes monk fruit and stevia. The new flavors serve as an extension of vitaminwater’s promise to ‘nourish every you.’ ‘with love’ is raspberry and dark chocolate flavored and includes magnesium to help support heart health. ‘forever you’ contains tropical coconut lime flavors with white curcumin (18mg) to promote digestic health. The reformulated and expanded zero sugar range is now available nationwide at mass retailers, grocery stores and convenience stores.

The Real Drinks Co is adding a new Peony Blush flavor to its portfolio of naturally fermented sparkling tea. Peony Blush is made from Chinese white peony tea leaves to produce an alcohol-free alternative to sparkling rosé. The fermentation process aims to produce the same authenticity, provenance and complexity that is found in traditional wine. Peony Blush will be available in a 750ml bottle with the brand’s celebratory cork & cage closure, from 27 April in selected UK retailers and online.

Barr Soft Drinks’ Rubicon brand has debuted a new Sparkling Rose Lemonade flavor. Launching exclusively in the UK convenience channel, Rubicon Sparkling Rose Lemonade will be available in 330ml and 500ml PMPs. The launch of Rubicon Sparkling Rose Lemonade will be supported by a strategic digital and out-of-home marketing campaign, in addition to the brand's ongoing ‘Made of Different stuff’ campaign.

Trip CBD Experienced 522% Growth In 2022

CBD brand Trip is the fastest growing soft drinks brand in the UK, according to Nielsen’s report on Soft Drinks Total Market Value Sales. According to Nielsen’s, Trip has grown 522% over the last 12 months. According to a study by the Association for The Cannabinoid Industry, the value of the UK CBD market was estimated at £690 million in 2021, and is expected to grow to £1 billion by 2025.

Mars Wrigley Launches Twix And Snickers RTD Iced Coffees In US

Trilliant has teamed up with Mars Wrigley to launch two RTD iced coffee beverages in Twix and Snickers flavors under its Victor Allen’s coffee brand. The launch comes less than a month after Mars Chocolate Drinks and Treats launched two new iced coffee mocha lattes into the UK market, under its Mars and Galaxy brands. Victor Allen’s Snickers and Twix Iced Coffee beverages are available in 13.7oz bottles in major retailers across the US, with more sizes to roll out later in the year.

Kona Gold Beverage, Inc. has expanded the distribution of its Ooh La Lemin Lemonades to Tennessee and Montana. Thai Beverage Pcl is exploring options for its spirits business, including an initial public offering in Singapore or selling a stake in the company. The spirits business, which includes the maker of the country's best-selling liquor brands Mekhong and Ruang Khao, accounted for 42.7% of ThaiBev's revenue and 71.9% of net profit in 2022.
